Kansas City Mayor Sly James proclaims “Youth Symphony Week” in Kansas City, Mo. December 7-14, 2014!

Read the text of the Mayor’s proclamation below!

Youth Symphony of Kansas City performed at The Midwest Clinic — an International Band and Orchestra Conference on December 19, 2014.  This performance was an incredible opportunity for the musicians involved in the orchestra and also for the visibility of the organization on an international scope.

Even though the performance and travel to Chicago is now a memory, you can still help us out!

Your gift of $350 pays for the entire cost of this experience for one musician. A gift of $100 provides the transportation expenses for one student and $50 will cover the meals for one musician. Every dollar continues to provide support for this experience!
